How often do small children considered good do what their parents tell them?
A study paid university students to follow parents doing parental tasks. The students noted down what a parent said, and whether or not the child responded to that request. An example was, "Come over here so I can tie your shoelace." Up front, children had been categorized as either good or naughty according to how their parents perceived them.
